EDUCATION OUTREACH: We raise funds to help get sun safe policies adopted in schools, distribute information to families on sun safe practices, and train teachers, coaches & caregivers on ways to protect their students from the sun during outdoor activities and everyday life.

PRODUCT DISTRIBUTION: We raise money to distribute sunglasses, hats, and sunscreen to children at schools, in childcare programs, and after-care centers.

CONTENT CREATION: By working with publications and brand partners, we produce targeted content promoting sun safety that is distributed across media channels. We are setting the sun on unhealthy images and messages, such as “gone tanning,” that are so pervasive in our media.

INFLUENCER CAMPAIGNS: We partner with committed social media influencers to promote safe sun practices online and in print, images, and via social media posts.

SHINE SAFE PLEDGE

Your content has
influence, and that power
can save lives.

I promise to promote healthy sun safe practices by not encouraging, in both word and image, tanning (whether outside in the sun or in tanning salons). By producing and distributing conscious content around sun safety, I hope to inspire people to protect themselves and significantly diminish their risk of being affected by skin cancer.
