We are the advocacy movement that is setting the sun on skin cancer. Our vision is for a world where our loved ones are never affected by this disease. Skin cancer is a global health problem: According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 3 cancers diagnosed is a skin cancer. It is the number 1 cancer in the United States. Skin cancer is the United Kingdom’s most common and fastest rising cancer. In Australia, skin cancers account for about 80% of all newly diagnosed cancers … and it is largely preventable. There is no such thing as a safe “base tan.” Skin of all colors need daily protection for good health and wellness, and should be included in these conversations.
We believe that by strategically combining philanthropy, integrated outreach, and media campaigns, we can shift the dangerous perceptions and habits surrounding our skin’s health. By working together, we can reach a vast and dedicated audience to help save lives. You Already Glow.

The treatment of childhood melanoma is often delayed due to misdiagnosis of pigmented lesions, which occurs up to 40 percent of the time
I promise to promote healthy sun safe practices by not encouraging, in both word and image, tanning (whether outside in the sun or in tanning salons). By producing and distributing conscious content around sun safety, I hope to inspire people to protect themselves and significantly diminish their risk of being affected by skin cancer.
